I'm not sure i'd agree it's all lawsuit related. Frankly in some cases it protects the kids from their coaches and even parents. Both have proven untrustworthy enough that rules had to be enacted.
It is, after all, just kids sports. HS coaches and parents can forget that. We have a phenomenal wrestling coach and are lucky in that but not every coach or parent has appropriate perspective to coach kids.

Well i had #6 adjusted perfectly but then just before i tightened it a butterfly in Zimbabwe farted and now i have to start all over again!
I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.
