Have my guest network so my guest (Brother Bob) can only surf, not access devices on my netowork, like my color laser printer. There is NO reason for Bob to print every freakin web site he visits! There is also no password. He keeps messing it up, forgetting it, and getting logged off and complaining. Turn my passwordless guest network off when he is not visiting. Even call it "bobs wifi".

Didn't have a password on my wifi until a couple of years ago. Neighbor behind me was connecting to my network instead of her own because she didn't know any better. Actually it was her home care nurses. It was much faster to connect to their local wifi than mine on the other side of power lines. Was surprised mine even showed up in her house.

My 2.4 and 5ghz are named the same so my 5ghz devices can talk to my 2.4ghz devices. You might note my 2.4ghz only goes 50/10 and my 5ghz goes 100/20. Tested with my iPhone.

I just use WPA2 personal. Don't think I need much enctrytion on my network traffic, just for login. The neighbor's nurses were the only ones getting on my network anyway.
