I had put in a Kitchen Aide dishwasher replacing a 15 year old Kitchen Aide that was actually still running but was pretty noisy.
Think it was only two or three years old and I had to replace the main wash pump assembly.
The impeller on the pump had come off the motor shaft. No threads left in the impeller but the motor shaft was fine. Cannot just buy an impeller. No that wouldn't be profitable at all...
Cannot say that I would recommend the Kitchen Aide.
