My wife’s uncle bought a 911 from Vasek Polak in Manhattan Beach in 1971. Unfortunately he passed away in 1981. His wife, my wife’s aunt was conned by some #$&$#@ mechanic who convinced her to sell him the car at some ridiculously low price.
I’ve always wondered if any Porsche memorabilia/“stuff” was left from the ‘71 911.
His widow passed away last month, while straightening out her estate I finally got the answer to my question. I found a Vasek Polak Pocket knife in pretty good condition, not the original Owner’s Manual I was hoping for but still pretty cool nonetheless.
