"Wheeler dealer dream car" anyone ?
New show by Brewer, with an ex-F1 mechanic Elvis something (he wrote a book about his experienc ien F1, I read it, but can't remember his last name)... Not sure where else it's available but I watched on motortrend on demand...
For those of us who enjoyed the mechanical portion of wheeler dealer (Edd china or Ant anstead) more than the Mike Brewer part, well, this is emphatically *not* the show for you ;-) ("ant anstead master mechanic" might be the show for you)
Brewer starts with someone's crap car and and some cash and works his way up selling and reselling 2 or 3 times to be able to make enough $ to buy someone's dream car. Within reason, I imagine (yugo to bugatti is unlikely). sometimes taking a side trip like this episode with a horse carrier....
It's 80% Mike wheeling & dealing and the rest with the poor F1 mechanic spending some time painting a wheel, putting a vinyl stripe, refurbishing a horse carrier, and a glueing a piece of carpet to a land rover's roof... Must regret leaving McLaren daily - seems like a nice guy though !
It's not for me. At all. It's my least favorite bits of wheeler dealer expanded... But it's out there if you're into that...
