the general manufacturers for such orders were (and still are): Bosch, Magnetti marelli, BERU, Pierburg, NGK and so on.

Same for Sparkplugs, Headlights… quite common in the automotive industry, back then and today.
So what your saying is this is just an over the counter part and Porsche never installed this on any twin plug factory vehicles?
I am just trying to establish what models (if any) may have come "OEM equipped" with this cap from the factory.
Maybe my initial request was not as clear as it should have been.
I have done research on twin plug caps and have found that a Jaguar V12 cap as well as the Lamborghini flat 12 cap can be modified for use on a vintage Porsche application because the original caps that came with such cars as the RSR are worth $2000+ in used condition. I would like to know if mine is one of those.
