My friend Tony is a factory trained wrench. He is retired now, but will still do engine rebuilds, valve seat machining, transmission rebuilds, etc. He charges $40 per hr. in his home garage.
I think Melissa paid something close to $1K for an oil change and 20k mile service on the Macan at the dealer. I didn't ReALly want to know how much the bill was.
I just changed the shift cables and installed the upgraded 987.2 shifter parts, GT3 shifter, and adjusted my own shift cables at home. Hourly cost? $0.00 And it shifts like a rally car now.
