Yeah, I am just going to tell him he did everything he was suppose to and we are very proud of what he accomplished. Take a month or two off and we can revisit how he wants to proceeds. Balls to the wall for next year, same as this year or do something else all together. His call. Wrestling is great but not everything.
The part that bothers me the most is that I stressed how fair wrestling is. Weigh in typically decides who wrestles, no politics. The tough part was making sure the coach gave you the opportunity. Well I forgot about crap calls and how the world has changed since my day back in the 80's. All these silly protocols.
Personally I hope he stays the weight, works his tail off, comes back with a chip on his shoulder and rips through the league with a full season. He is done growing so not worried about staying the weight since he made it pretty easy this year once season started.
