If you read enough you’ll find an article by a professor that argues eloquently for anything and sounds convincing while you’re reading. I’d be more concerned about the OP’s article if I hadn’t read the same drivel in 2010.

With the new decade I read a few retrospective articles on what “experts” were predicting at the beginning of the 2010s. The article I posted was referenced as typical of the “expert” consensus of the time - that CAFE fuel standards and new plug-in hybrids were going to usher in a new era of fully electric vehicles. Instead we’re in a golden age of ICE cars with no end in sight.
