Out here we use Facebook subgroups. There is one for rural crime watch and another for community purposes.

Now it’s moderated by some cray cray lady (the original lady was crazy enough) who must approve posts so by the time any posts of 5hit going down are posted, the perps are long gone. Instead, she posts random information about big city crimes and scams To keep the group relevant. I expect cookie recipes and voodoo magic to prevent rural crime will be posted any day now...
