My CPA called and wanted the amount of interest we paid on the loan for the 182. OK, easy enough, I sent an email to our loan officer. He sent the request to some other person at the bank, as he is a loan officer, not a gofer and I understand that, no sweat.

She evidently printed out two pieces of paper, and faxed them to herself, and then scanned them on a copier. The text was very light, and just at the minimum to be legible and they were 15 degrees off of square.

Fortunately I have Photoshop, and I know how to use it. So open the file, crop and square it up, then adjust the curves to the maximum amount to get the light grey text to be black, and keep the whites white. Edit out our business information for privacy, and save that as a PDF to send to my CPA. He for sure has out TIN and address anyway, so it was not needed.

I an not sure what I expected from the bank, but it was something better than I got. All that matters is that it is done and the CPA has it.
