Nascar hasn't admitted it but the 2nd and 3rd Gen 7 test cars were both wrecked and wiped out in practice sessions. The second was wrecked by Eric Jones just before Daytona and the newest one with the center lock wheels was wrecked yesterday (Tuesday the 3rd) at Mexifornia speedway by William Byron. The punk kids these days buying rides can't drive. They kinda admitted about the 3rd car being in an accident by Byron. Also pix at the link below of the car.

I didn't know the chassis was updated to a 66 Chevy, thought they were still running a 65 Ford Galaxie platform. For real.
