They've been taking the "stock" out of stock car for decades. NASCAR has lost more of my interest with every move away from a car that I can identify on the street. It's all about the soap opera of the drivers now anyway, so why make the cars more expensive?
What they really need is a rule that allows more sheet metal on the cars to get room for more sponsors. How about a big vertical "stabilizer" (for safety doncha know
