This may not be applicable to a 2003 but my '98 had the sound of a tyre rub or wheel bearing that showed up on hard left turns. Increased with speed, but increased with engine RPM and clutch in. Turned out to be the front engine mount (after replacing both front and rear wheel bearings). Take off the inside cover and look down at it. there should be plastic spacers on both sides of the frame mount.
