The second gen cars with popups were built from part way through 1983 to early 1987. I have tracked around a dozen cars that don't have the front vents from this period, and the latest car bought by the Porsche Museum (M506 Cab) is extremely rare in not having the front vents - it is a G50 car from 89 and obviously built to special order.
The AJR cars were originally built from factory-supplied kits (I have a copy of the M505 build-up manual for them). .

As you can see mine does not have the vents but pop up lights, so not a hammerhead version with the lights in the valance. Can you post a copy of your copy of the AJR factory supplied kits or email to
www.VoitureLTD.com ( link on my website ) or thru this site. I always notice when I google VoitureLTD, another dealer in the UK also pops up although I noticed he is not Porsche 930 exclusive dealer / collector, ( I have owned this keeper PTS one for over 20 years ) Thank you, if this request is possible.
