Driving in stop/go rush hour traffic and then there is an a**wipe that decides to drive on the shoulder. Same thing in a construction zone when one lane is shut down and traffic is forced to merge into one lane. Never fails that someone thinks they can drive on the shoulder to pass a few cars and then jump back into traffic.
Once I was in the stop/go (mostly stop) rush hour traffic in the right lane and I saw in the mirror someone driving up the shoulder. So I moved over onto the shoulder keeping my pace with traffic (and the guy behind me did the same and kept close to me). The shoulder driver decided to move over into the grass to try and get around the both of us. He ended up stuck in the mud. Was great to see.
