My Son and I saw the threat of sunshine and took off hell bent for leather up to Craft Island where the mighty Skagit flows into the northern bit of Puget Sound.
The mighty Skagit is made of water that flowed through my beloved North Cascades, so ya know it's yummy.
If you wander out to the "island" (on an island) go at low tide and even then it's very soggy, very soggy indeed.
The dudes abide- with matching Vasque boots no less.
No birds were harmed, harassed or chopped to little bits to capture these photos.
Thousands of geese are all over the farmer's fields nearby today instead of here.
We saw a few Bald eagles, an Osprey and at least a couple hawks.
A fine 3 hour adventure!
