During my research (way before my CTR-RUF research ) I formed the opinion that steel fenders are best for a street car backdate. The fenders are hard to replicate with f-glass to "perfection." They will not stand up to road/street use as well as the steel fenders. That said, if you choose to buy f-glass fenders, don't expect to just paint and bolt them on. In general, there have been few case of a "perfect" fit on f-glass parts. When you are dealing with fenders and bumpers that have to fit on the front of your car, expect to do the fit and prep work.

For the rears, I would be comfortable with glass or steel flares (although for those guys with the SC's or Carrera's it's a non-issue). Some of the threads and reports indicate that steel or f-glass will bond very nicely and last if done right. I chose steel flares because there is something that makes me and others value properly welded steel flares over bonded f-glass flares. Bonded steel flares, that's another topic (search..I'll add the links later or someone can).

Rennspeed seems to have the best price advertised (well, sort of) for RS rear bumpers. I wish I could get a group buy price for those RS rear bumpers (only piece I need to complete the car).

Wayne? Can you get us a good price on RS rear bumpers?

(Watch, tomorrow the RS rear bumper prices are going to get jacked up... I hope not, cause I can't place an order until after the new year. Damn kids..they don't really need a Christmas do they!)

Some F-glass parts sources GT Racing, MA Shaw, Getty (I already asked Brad at BW and he does not make RS parts) ...etc... I haven't checked Pelican lately to see if Wayne sells F-glass parts such as the RS front and rear bumpers. Have to do that tonight from home.

Note: I can't speak for the quality and fit of any of the aboved mentioned as I have not bought a part from them yet. The important thing is that YOU WILL NOT GET A PERFECT PART! Keep that in mind and you will not be disappointed. If you do get a perfect part, be happy. I can be anal as a Mofo sometimes, but somethings are just the way they are. That's why I have steel fenders and a steel hood.
