Watching that mountain biker video reminds need me of a time About 30 years ago when mtn bikes were relatively new. Just for fun I rented one in the wilds of BC Canada, and hauled @$$ about 5 miles out into a deep forest by myself. Was having a good time until the thought finally entered my thick skull, what if?
i quickly turned around, kept the speed down since visibility was really limited and whistled loudly all the way back hopefully not announcing meals on wheels. When returning the bike I saw the bear warning signs. Dumb-@$$.
