You all have helped out in the past with magazine ideas for him. As an update, I got him the suggestions from ppot, which have slowly started to trickle in to his room.
Spoke to him tonight. He's a little bummed out (being bedridden in a nursing home)- so we talked about 24 hours races, and he was completely unaware of the newer "Ford vs. Ferrari" movie.
I told him there were some younger actors, Matt Damon did
okay, but Christian Bale nailed it.
And he bit... (which is like getting him to say "Here... Welcome....get ON my lawn..")
Although his latest car 'was' a Z06 vette, he's basically a muscle car fanatic. He's owned a number of mustangs and the Grand National when it was the big kid on the block.
I need to get him a copy of the "Ford vs. Ferrari" movie.
In short, I feel a very powerless over current situations, and would like to get him as many car movies as possible that have 24 hour races (or big block content).
These will need to be movies his current "wife" can get to him on a computer or something. I think he only has cable in the nursing home.

I want to keep him entertained and busy! I asked if there were a VCR or DVD player in the room- he said NO! (A reflection on how out of touch
