Can 't speak for Disneyworld, but Disneyland has only closed three times since its opening in 1955. It closed in 1963 after the JFK assassination, in 1994 following the Northridge Earthquake, and in 2001 following 9/11.
Disneyland says it will continue to pay its employees during this current shutdown. Not clear as to
which employees, however.
