I'm not saying some people in the administration didn't try. But they were contradicted over and over by others in the administration
The president said Corona Virus would someday disappear, like a miracle (so no need to worry)
The president contradicted public health experts - who stated the gravity of the issue based on science - by saying he had a "hunch" their statistics were wrong.
On the same day Larry Kudlow, who is on the Corona Virus task force, said the outbreak had been contained, the Surgeon General said it had
not been contained and we were moving to mitigation efforts.
The president said "anyone who wants a test can get one" while the CDC says only very limited numbers of test kits are available.
The president said we are very close to having a vaccine, when the experts say it will be a year or a year and a half before we have a vaccine.
And the best one:
The president said people who have the virus are walking around, even going to work.
If you want to spread panic, let the president of the United States tell the country that the people working next to you every day may be carrying a deadly and highly contagious disease.
