This isn't a media hype.

Doing the right thing does not include PANIC. You can tell yourself that the Pollyanna sensational screaming is
Doing the right thing but it's not.
People don't have sports for the moment and now they are even more obsessed with their panic. Their imagined over-run hospitals...
I am so close to CV19-ground-zero-US that my commute takes me thru the corner of the town where all the old people got this and died. But this CV19 is not the threat that H1N1 was. No where near.
Did people panic in 2009? --Going by the numbers there was a hell of a lot more to panic about then. Both young and old got it and died. Swine flu infected 60 Million Americans with 300,000 Hospitalized, over 1000 dead before "national emergency" was declared, and even then... "wash your hands."
What are we (US) looking at here and now?
-a few hundred carrying (many w/o symptoms)
-People at risk are those who get taken out with
any flu/cold season.
-Social media hype and traditional media hype panic.
That's what we are seeing.
You may want to revel in your panic to feel
woke or some crap. but where where you in 2009? (not a mention from you on that H1N1)
