So WHY was a test wasted on someone who is 'fine'??????

Depends. The president was tested to shut people up and quell panic, IMHO.

Not easy to discern. Best I have been able to glean is that there are about 10% false positive, 30-40% false negative. Upshot of this is that basically a third of the tests that come back negative, the person has it. Nobody is talking about this. I suspect that all the reports of ridiculously high accuracy are coming out of China.

It is a different family of viruses than the ones that cause the flu. Same family as the common cold, which frequently gives similar symptoms to the flu virus.

Because if it bleeds, it leads.

This is different in the respect that they are doing it to everyone.

You can refuse, but they are liable to test you anyway, which technically is assault.

You don't have a right to the first or second test.

I think this is related to how good the individual's publicist is.

See bleeding and leading above.

The rate could reasonably be expected to increase as more are exposed. No we do not need that many test kits.

It will make it cheaper for someone to purchase their business after it is closed.

Depends on the person. All of the self employed people will decline

No one knows, but someone will be along to tell you anyway. Probably yes, no reason why not.

Again, it is a different family of viruses from the flu.
The Spanish(should have been called Kansas) Flu from 100 years ago was arguably many times worse than this.
