Last week I received a letter in the mail , after opening I read it was supposedly from a lawyer in Spain . Yeah ok keep reading , his client died in 2007 and has the same last name as me . Years of searching for relatives has turned up none . So now he's just looking for ANYONE with the same last name to share the loot with
His client left 6.5 million lire in his estate and the spanish government will confiscate the money soon if I don't reply . The letter states I will receive 45 % , the lawyer gets 45 % and " charity " get 10 % . The letter head has a fuzzy pic of George Washington ( nice touch ) and a phony looking notary stamp .
The letter includes a phone number and email address . There aren't many people in the WORLD that have my last name so they are digging deep . I wonder how many folks fall for this crap ?
