It’s not meant to be an insult, please accept my very sincere apology.
But again, if the landlord is prohibited by law from filing an eviction lawsuit, any “documentation” requirement is meaningless window dressing mainly designed to fool the public.
Because without the ability to file an eviction action, a tenant can choose to not pay rent, for any reason or no reason at all, and there’s NOTHING a landlord can do about it. ZERO.
The elevator sign shows what many tenants are already thinking.
