Report from the Twincities:
Drove by a Target, Cub (grocery store) and Walmart last night. Parking lots not real busy, but probably busier than normal. Did not see any unusual shopping that I could tell. Saw six or seven people wearing masks. One person wearing gloves, I think. The Cub is normally open 24 hrs. It closed at 10pm. The Walmart normally closes at midnight. It also closed at 10pm.
Drove by the Cub and Walmart today about 3pm. Parking lots busier, though not packed. At the Walmart, about 1/3 of the shoppers coming out had 'excessive' amounts of TP or paper towels, sometimes it was hard to tell what they had. Saw three or four people with masks.
Bars, restaurants, and other similar businesses were closed as of yesterday. The MOA closed today at 5pm, or yesterday.
Governor's press conference. Testing is still backlogged. They/we have 1700 samples frozen for later testing.
