I remember back in the 70's when my friend and I were racing Corvette we added a ducted air line into the brakes like that. Racing at Portland Oregon the main straight was a 160 mph into an 80 mph right turn then followed by a 50 mph right turn.
After the first couple practice laps he came in a said "take those air ducts off, I can go so deep into that corner I'm afraid if the air duct came off I'd never stop till the next town!"
