I still think the holes might have a negative effect. At speed, the rear acts as a wing and provides lift (unless you have a whale or duck tail). This creates a negative air pressure zone right where all the holes are making it harder for the engine to suck in air. This would be difficult to test on a dyno as the car is not moving. According to physics, my theory should be correct.
