I can't see a way that it doesn't put a world of hurt on the economy. The moment they decided to shut things down is the moment I got concerned, but it was concern for people economically. The number of people living paycheck to paycheck is alarming and this isn't going to help any of them. The number of people in debt up to their hairlines (REALLY bad for the bald people

) is astounding. A stimulus plan to give most people 2K isn't going to get it done IMO. In two or three weeks many will have any rainy day fund dissolved. That means the economy suffers because consumers can only afford to consume the necessities. Consuming just the necessities doesn't create a robust recovery from what just happened.
