They took a jump in price a few years ago when people realized they could own a 12 cylinder Ferrari for not a lot of money.
I really like Harry's garage examples of how they are not as fragile as I had been lead to believe.
BUT, when 328s were $25k I thought about buying one instead of my 73 911 RSR replica, and then I realized that if I didn't buy the Ferrari then every four years I could buy another $25k Porsche :-)
