Not virus so much as ongoing Rat Rod build. I completely redid the original seat but with a modern twist. It used to be a farm truck, so you can imagine what that looked like after 64 years. They were made with burlap, horse hair and cotton wadding.
After disassembly, the frames / springs were sandblasted then I had to repair/ replace smaller springs obtained from the local hardware store. Then I reinforced all those springs with criss cross wire to really stiffen them up. Then paint, use dense foam and then glue pieces, shave that so to feel / look like a modern seat.
I had a shop do the original upholstery in a modern tan with contrasting piping / stitching. I added 2 custom "V" medallions and inset them. A lot of work.............but turned out OK.
