I know it's an old thread, but figured I'd give an update. I've been working as a field engineer for almost 6 months now building an LNG plant in Louisiana. I could see myself staying with this company for a long time, so long as they continue to build plants. I started off with the millwright group assisting concrete with the embedded support structures, and will soon move into rotational equipment and possibly startup and commissioning. It's a lot of work and long hours, but I enjoy it and I'm doing exceptionally well here. Thanks for the encouragement to all who gave it.
