My point was about the likely surge in new members getting in. Yes, tough lessons. And where the fck are all these groceries going? Seems like all my life there has been a little ebb and flow, supply and demand. When does emptying the market out make any sense?
Go back to the 2 gas crises years of '74 and '78. Most of the time the average amount of gas out on the street exists in half full tanks. At the point of the shortage, the amount of gas sitting in cars was more than the reserves. It was millions of gallons that were sucked up by the greedy. And I needed a truck with gas to work.
So, I should know tough lessons.
