Very sorry to hear this---but know that he loves you for taking care of him. The pain will eventually go away, even if it doesn't feel that way right now.
I'm still mourning Max after 9 months---and you're right--it does seem tougher the older I get.
Keep your head up and remember all the joy Mickey brought to you and your family.
