Well, Steve. I knew those images existed but I thought I would spare the gore. You've made the point!! I've never actually had a cut off disc explode but I have chunked a few and it's always a good idea to anticipate the worse.
Back to the build; Michael, if you don't have this info, the 911 body is built from the rear forward in order to get all the gaps at 4mm. The doors are hung to fit the rear quarters and the front fenders and hood are adjustable in every direction you can imagine.
In your case you could hang the doors to fit in the ideal position and hang the rear quarters to align to the door edge and the usual assembly sequence for the front parts.
But, you've been through at least one build with the Gray Ghost, so I'm probably stating the obvious to you.
That's going to be one hell of a 911. Why isn't this in the 911 forum?
