Wireless security?
I live in a typical upper middle class neighborhood. No retail businesses at all, just single family homes, with three car garages and their own yards.
I suspect every house has a WIFI router, and there are lots of signals out there if I search for signals.
My router has a bunch of choices for security of the WiFi. Everything from:
WPA2 Personal
WPA3 Personal
WPA/WPA2 Personal
WPA2/WPA3 Personal
WPA2 Enterprise
WPA/WPA2 Enterprise.
Right now I am only running WPA2 Personal security with a good strong password. Is there any real need to ramp up to higher security protocols? Will my cell phones and laptop even connect to Enterprise level stuff? I have not played with the different protocols as I feel sure it will kill the connection when it changes and I really don't know if it is necessary to go through it.
How secure is WPA2 Personal? Will the iPhone and iPads connect OK to to higher level security?
