Faster993 a/k/a Foxman here. I just crossed over from the Rennlist Forum and gave this thread a read from cover to cover. Wow. Watching you massage the paint back to life while performing a crime scene analysis on the prior insults to the car is pretty darn impressive. But deftly dropping the engine and rebuilding everything from the ground up, on your own and with Yankee ingenuity is downright inspiring. Both you and Rus (I’ve been following his C4 engine drop in the RL 964 Forum) are the real deal. My skill sets are quite limited in compare , but following threads like yours provides invaluable insight, and inspiration.
I’m looking forward to following the progress on fhis thread. And thanks for documenting the journey for others.
