Thanks very much. I'm impressed that you'd make not one but two late model 911's into such hardcore machines. Maybe it's my bad L4/L5 & L5-S1, but I've become a bit of a comfort-meister. I did track days in my Alfa GTV(s) from early 90's thru mid-2000's. I arrived at that stage where I was running in favorable run groups but the car had stock seats, half-cage i.e., braced roll bar and someone's gifted and expired Sabelt harnesses, plus I was also driving the car to and from WGI, at that time from Philly and kind of had the realization that if my skill ran out or something broke, I'd be fooked. I reimagined myself, to quote the English writer Martin Buckley, as GT Man. Maybe not, but I wasn't going to be Track Guy anymore. ("What did you do this weekend, John?"; "Oh, I was refining my line at The Glen"...gag me, right?)

The 924S is fighting me this morning, something that should be an ultra basic, spacial-relationships matter (refitting the $#&%!! fuel tank), but I had to tell myself to a) walk away for a while, and b) ask for help, which I'll do now as a separate thread in order to get more eyes on my question.
