I wanted to get this antique wood boat working even though i have nowhere really to drive it. Its been on the healing bench since the fall. All the electrics in it were antique as can be probably from the 50s. I didnt want to use any good parts incase it sinks or gets wet. I got an old traxxas truck from a garage sale had a good receiver. I had some extra servos from rc planes. I tried to use a speed control from one of those cheap rc cars but it was spinning the motor way too fast. I ended using a trigger switch from a cordless drill and got it all working. I guess I can play with it in the neighbors pool
