I took a very deep plunge into the world of precision airguns many years ago. The high quality "adult" air guns available today are truly impressive. I have a pretty fair number of Weihrauch and RWS rifles and pistols of the spring-piston and single stroke pneumatic variety, and a few Sheridan and Benjamin multi-pump pneumatics, both new and vintage. I have not yet gotten into the PCP (God, it even
sounds like a drug

) platform yet, although it does look intriguing.
Be mindful of your local laws - just because these ship to your home with no FFL, waiting period, or background check, don't assume they are "not a firearm". The feds don't see them as such, but many municipalities do. My town, for example, considers a wrist-rocket a "firearm". Pea shooters and spit wads as well. Anything that propels a projectile is a "firearm" and cannot legally be discharged within city limits.
