Better managed might be a more accurate way to describe it. Modern tires and uprated sway bar and quicker steering are all nice upgrades (which I did on my MGC roadster) but the weight is still there. Not objectionable for a GT sort of car.

A good MGC is worth tracking down and keeping. CGTs can get a bit warm however...
