With these two tools, you can clamp, and band nearly anything. Rack boots, Cv boots, fuel hose clamps, nylon line clamps.. Great tool. Just get yourself an assortment of cv boot clamps and you are good to go forever .
There was a time when we used to replace cv joints, and boots, you know, actual mechanic work, now we mostly just replace axle shaft assemblies .
