It does not matter, absolutely does not matter. I have been there and had to do that, so don't lecture me. Being responsible for an operational military unit carries responsibilities and requires an awareness that the vast majority of the civilian population cannot comprehend. If you understood even an iota of that, there is more than a reasonable basis for those that are not ignorant of the duty of command.
