Once I got all the old stuff out of the engine, it took 9 qts of oil to fill back up to the dipstick mark! Got cleaned up, ate lunch and then started doing some work on my bicycle (Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike). The original derailleur shifters had gone south so I replaced both units on the handlebars. That went pretty well with just a bit of adjusting left to do tomorrow.
I've been fixing up my bikes (I got two new ones recently) to cruise around the hood and on the beach here. New grips, mirror, lighting, bottle cages, holder for my stereo, and rack in back to carry stuff. Finally got them done and the county closes the beach down. That didn't sit well with the locals so they finally revised their mandate. Really stupid to say no one allowed on the beach. Some people just want to go for a walk or bike ride. Hell....if anything that helps one fight against sickness.

Volusia County loosens beach restrictions

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —

After announcing that all beaches would be closed earlier this week, Volusia County officials said Saturday that they’ve decided to open access to people looking for a place to exercise.

Official said Saturday that the beach remains closed, but a new measure will allow exceptions to the closure for walking, jogging, biking, fishing, surfing and swimming.

Sunbathing, sitting in chairs, organized sports or lying on blankets and grouping of people on the beach remains prohibited.
