Both drugs are old, and fairly easy to make, having very established ‘recipes’. For $20k in hardware and $40k in starting reagents, I could make 10kg in my basement at 90% yield. Then all you need is a pill press. It’s not hard...

So what I cannot fathom, is that given these things, IF it is the ‘magic bullet’, wouldn't COVID19 be a non issue...cause those countries ahead of us would already be using it to the fullest? Are we the only ‘smart ones’ on the planet?

The cynic in my says the current studies are just a cash grab.

And the cynic in me says there is not a lot of money to be made from Big Pharma with HCQ and Zinc, so they are not that excited about it.
