You should just delete the link; we know it's a scam.
On one hand, they could have probably roped in more people if the the "discount" was so outrageous, eg is if it was 20% off. Then again, part of the logic is to make the offer so outlandish that smart people don't fall for it, and there's enough idiots willing to "give it a try" that they can still make a killing.
W/R/T to "give it a try:" my wife almost fell for something like this. I told her if it was too good to be true, then it it probably is. Her response was that I was too negative, and for only $xxx it might be "worth a try"
