Around the neck on a leash is convenient but it doesn't always work. If you do carpentry they catch dust while hanging. Sure, they shouldn't be if you're making dust, but....

Then when you bend over they are a bother. So, back on your head they go. Pocket is good if you can keep them there. In an open ended glasses case is best. When I started wearing glasses to read a tape I couldn't stand how the boards bent like surfboards. I wanted to take them off and beat them with my framing hammer.

I got used to that after about a year.
