I root for every new pro football league that comes along, and there have been many.
Unfortunately only one has made it and that was the fourth try for the AFL.
Technically it did not survive on it's own, it was swallowed up by the NFL in a merger of unequals.
And no one really took it very seriously, until Broadway Joe kept his promise

They've reached the saturation point there really is no more room for conventional pro football.
They need to market something different, something better.
I suggest something classier, with no stupid dancing around or acting like low-lifes. That would be a good start.
And stop interviewing the players on the sidelines, most of the ones that were interviewed on the XFL sidelines couldn't pronounce their own name.
