The Bentley manual only says that terminals 2 and 3 should have resistance and it should change without interruption. You are testing the correct terminals.

I could not find a resistance value in the Porsche manual but it does discuss voltage changes. With the ignition on and AFM wiring connected, you need to check terminal 2 (second from left). With the AFM vane closed it should read approx. 0.26V and fully open approx. 4.6V.
